I’m a HUGE This American Life fan. This week’s show (entitled “Family Physics”) was science-themed. Well, kind of. Metaphors for how life is like a scientific theory typically make me cringe, but this connection is made so infrequently that the cringe-o-meter never had a chance to get very high. In fact, science is mentioned so infrequently that it seems like an afterthought. In any case, This American Life tipped its hat to science and I tip my hat back.
Thanks for the laughs, TAL (especially Act II). Check out the podcast here.
Wanna cringe? Last week a co-worker and I determined that denial is the Most Powerful Force in the Universe. So now I am diligently working to derive a complete physics from the Five Stages of Grief.
