Reddit, the news aggregator site to which I pledge my allegiance, has a community that you just can’t top. They’re currently trying to convince Stephen Colbert to hold a rally rivaling the one recently held by Glenn Beck.  The “Restoring Truthiness” community on Reddit has thousands of followers and has decided to do something concrete to show their support for the cause. To get Stephen’s attention, they’ve begun donating to Donor’s Choose, an organization which matches up donors with teachers who need supplies for their classroom. Stephen is on the board of this non-profit, so this is our way of getting his attention while doing something good in the process. I love being part of a community that is willing to do more than click a Like button to get something done and one which is so charity-minded. I <3 Reddit.

Over $100,000 has been raised so far (that’s over 30,000 students reached!). Join the cause to Restore Truthiness!! DONATE HERE.
