Patrick Wheatley, a postdoc at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and co-host of the Science…sort of podcast, needs YOU! Specifically, he needs your hair.

Patrick wants to do CHEMISTRY to your hair to see if hair from different regions has a particular chemical signature (because, for example, of the chemical composition of water consumed by people in that region). This information could be used for multiple purposes, including using it as a forensics tool (think CSI).
